and as far as I, Assadist and non-apologist, and concerned, that's pretty much the end of it. However many true "innocent civilians" the SAA or its allies may have killed, they did it fighting a war of self defence which they had no responsibility for starting, whatsoever. It's no different from claiming that the Germans did 90% of the killing in WW2, meaning that the 10% killed by the UK put the blame for those deaths on the UK. The initial and persistent framing of the war on Syria as a "civil war" between opposing sects in Syria enables this distortion and misrepresentation to persist. So the Daves and Monbiot arguing over whether it was 90% or 70% misses the point. I'd still support the Daves rather than Monbiot of course, as they have at least done a fair bit to expose the Guardian as the Fraudian it is, along with the BBC. Those two corrupt institutions are the biggest problem by far for us Putinassadists...
