He certainly knows enough about the ME but it,s only occasionally he can bring himself to say it, and then mainly in obscurantist tropes replete with caveats,no doubt for the benefit of HMV. I agree. Fisk's broader take on Syrian events was also somewhat blinded by his own anti-Syrian/Assad antipathy; rightly or wrongly coloured by the narrower issue of the Syrian army occupation of his home in Lebanon. |
