Partly anecdotal, from personal experience. Also, a lot of high profile Greens - Monbiot, Lucas, Read, Tatchell - seem to swallow MSM analysis on geopolitics, Syria, for example. Not much more than that and a gut feeling. Just an opinion, then, and a massive generalisation, of course. 'Green', in any case, covers a mass of different perspectives. But I don't want to get into that. I'm really talking about 'greenery' as it's generally known. What some would call 'shallow environmentalism'.
