No worries, I looked up XR on Bolivia at that thread I linked to above but haven't done so with Thunberg and youth strikers. Might get round to it at some point... I think it'll always be skewing of the narrative in the MSM (as you put it). For some reason there's been a lot of acceptance for targeting Bolsonaro on environmental grounds so green voices get airplay over that. Other times that spring to mind include the russians arresting greenpeace protestors which got a lot of attention a few years back as a way to kick Putin. Naivete shouldn't be an acceptable excuse though, I don't think. There's also the possibility that western environmentalists develop an instinct for the kind of actions or campaigns that will get sympathetic media coverage or (in the case of the bigger NGOs especially) generate large donations from wealthy funders. That will inevitably tend to filter out issues that directly tackle western power interests.
