| That was my perspective. I hadn't been here long when Blair was shutting down 'unprofitable' nhs trusts, hospitals etc and moving the services to bigger towns and cities. Seems to match with eu attitudes on public v private ( the old eec was more aptly named imo, focus on economic). When you boil a frog from cold it's alive all the time till it's suddenly dead. This is that point unless we decide to collectively take it out the water. Or we could just complain that it's all the fault of the voters. |
