The new job is a rebuilt NHS, seriously slimmed scarcity-socialism style, after the Bojomorrhoids Archived Message

havre wrought their havoc - including the destruction of the NHS that we have now - and have provoked the final proletarian backlash (possibly including lamp-posts) because right through their wrecking rule things have got steadily worse for the majority. I doubt that there's much chance now of saving the Mark 1 Bevan style NHS. But the Long Descent is started and will continue. Times will get tougher, and we still have the stark choice between neo-feudalism and scarcity-socialism as the only two actually-realworld, actually viable forms of society over the next however many decades. In those circumstances, planning for a reduced - but still superior-to-commercial - public health service is still well worth doing. But sureashell, if we don't hold on to the idea and insist, the tory-haemorrhoid tendency in society - especially in a time of increasing scarcity - will not volunteer to make it happen. They prefer having enough (of our) money to buy what they want, and to hell with the rest of us. It's down to us, as unmanageable plebs who won't take no for an answer, to make NHS Mark 2 happen.
