| Maybe, but somewhat irrelevant. I don't suppose Der for one minute would hold up New Labour as the great defender of the NHS. His point is, I would have thought, we had the chance to stem or maybe even reverse the dismantling. Would it have happened? Again, unless you want to think him a foil, the establishment's response to Corbyn would suggest that it might have and certainly more likely than under Johnson, he who has just assigned a multi-billion cash injection/bung to his mates into the NHS (trebles all round), but of course now, we'll never know. |
