Which bit and what's planted there? I maintain it (as they say), .. it's all macro-cosmic though friends.....;"We must alter the external!"......but only by also changing our internal landscape can we ever hope to become part of the process of democratisation..and is not anarchism also democratic? I'd hate to live in an anarchist society that wasn't (b**gers the mind how this could ever be so but I digress)....look at places like Findhorn (and others), Schumacher would easily identify the fact that its success is dependent on (at the very least), a tripartite conception of socio-political/economic organisation...there still are communes (though few), and co-ops, there still is some public ownership (re: the financial institutions), without them we would have descended into Khaos...Schumacher maintained (that word again), that a fully balanced tripartite economy would not only be democratic but also (and essentially for democracy), dynamic with much movement and "cross-pollination" between the individual, social and communal spheres..surely such would be an indication of a system that displays proper maturity and progression from the easily exploited polarisations of our more juvenile conceptions?
