Why shouldn't a Humanist have faith? An atheist can have faith in "human nature" is that not also a "communion"? What many like Dawkins seem not to possess is "faith" in those who went before...they love "Year Zero" Enlightenment posturing..millennia of religious thought and the work of theologians sent straight to the drainage system.."it means nothing"....well if you can't understand what was said no wonder you think such history is irrelevant..one doesn't have to profess religious belief to understand the arguments but having a closed mind automatically makes the great archive of human history a closed book..
