I don't know how we deal with those but I do know that there are too many men terrorizing their families, where we are too contented to ignore it, and sometimes spilling out into the community in ways that can't be ignored. Jackie, is there evidence that Wortman had been terrorizing his family or partner and that people ignored it? I've read quite a bit of the coverage and have not seen a single mention of that. What nearly everyone who knew him seem to be saying - at least based on what I've read so far, obviously limited - is that this came pretty much out of the blue and that they're all shocked. |
