Tomski, This paper by Michaux is a good one, namely at 70 pages it covers a lot of ground, other papers from engineers on the subject matter, namely the EU's plans to de-carbonise and move to renewables and EVs are far larger, some the size of a book, i.e., 200 pages plus, what they all conclude as far as the EU/UK is concerned is that many of the plans are delusional, as is a belief you can enjoy living standards associated with FFs with a renewables-based economy, that's before we understand we are only discussing a small bit of energy requirement, namely electricity generation, which does not power a modern economy, fossil fuels do this. If you don't have time to read the paper in full, the author gave a presentation in Queensland based on this paper a few weeks ago, which I've added a link for:
He's also been interviewed by Nate Hagens 3 months ago, also worth listening to.
