Hi Christine. I was a driver at Bartons (late 50s/early 60s,) you may not know this but the Upminister Bridge shop, and Upminister shop and also Cranham shop was owned by a Mr. Hales, his small bakery was at the back of Upminister shop he took me on as a driver in about 1958, Bartons bought him out, that's when I worked for them, probably long before your time Christine
