In the 1960's i lived in Goodmayes and was trying to check that i remembered right that thete was a Bartons Bakery there. My mum used to get me a swiss bun whenever i was off school sick. Although they looked the same as iced fingers on the outside, inside they were totally different. In my memory, it seemed more like seeet bread, that was rolled around. They were delicious, but i've never found anything like them since. Am i imagining all of this?
