Great question. There is fibre optic and there is fibre optic, just because they say it is fibre optic, you need to ask what the speed is. We have something called fibre plus, which is high speed (300 Mb) over copper which is more that fast for normal use (multi connections and streaming). Both systems can be regulated or throttled down for a variety of reasons but again it comes down to speed. I also would like to know what is being offered in the LM area? Several years ago, there was a crew installing fibre but I know no one who was connected when I last asked on the board, so I can not comment on how specifically is it doing? I know someone who got it up a Lake Chapala and they swear by it, real fast, no loading and almost zero lag time, that is all good, but when I phoned and talked to the company who supplied it, LM is NOT on the horizon for future installations so who is the supplier that you are looking to?
