Welcome! Some guidelines for those that want to give it a try
Absolutely you can join in! We are not on any kind of a set time frame with this. I'm just suggesting giving it a month to try it out and see if it is beneficial in helping folks get past those mental roadblocks we all seem to hit, and possibly prevent our metabolisms from adjusting down after prolonged reduced calorie intake. It should also help suppress the appetite. Fat is naturally satiating. Also, current research has proven that dietary fat is not the cause of obesity or heart related vascular disease. By adding the 3 high fat meals my hope is that it will not only help the emotional challenge, but also keep the metabolism off balance and revved up and keep your gallbladder functioning, if you still have one.
I appreciate you giving this a go and letting me know how it works for you. I can't promise what the result will be, but with keeping your 3 meals to 70% fat, 20% protein, and no more then 10% green vegetable carbohydrate, I'm thinking it may be a good one.
It can be challenging to hit those percentages. Think bacon, eggs, avocado, and olives. low carb leafy greens like spinach, kale, or salad greens should make up the carbohydrate portion. Salt is not the bad guy either so don't be afraid of that. Avoid seed (vegetable) oils and stick with olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, or butter.
