Awesome guys. Racepics....yeah, I believe you are right. The offshore stocks are beginning to dwindle, but most, in fact NEARLY all NZ crewed vessels are now fishing inshore only. The offshore trawling is almost exclusively done by foreign crewed vessels chartered by NZ owned companies.

It really is a vicious cycle. And the attitudes of many need to change to make this work. It has to come down to sustainability vs economics, and right now economics has a firm upper hand.
