I fish with two Veritas rods. May I ask the cause of the break, was it a problem with the rod or perhaps a problem with the user?
When matched with Shimano Baitrunner reels and four kilo line, I find the Veritas rod very responsive with a three ounce lead rather than the heavier weights recommended.
