Thanks for the plug with the lumo tube packaging Hangler. Those long shank hooks look like Varives Big Mouth we used to bring them in for Darrel N up the bay awesome hook we had a theory that big Snapper were less likely to bite through the hook than the trace as long as you struck the bite.
We have the been using Proper Pully clips on our own rigs for a while now, I have found them much smoother and less likely to pig tail as the line is not being pulled over a swivel.
If you are looking for a good line for backbone if you can find it I think we have left is Sufix Surf Shock Leader it's not bought into NZ any longer.
