In your post above you have made one comment I feel justifies reply, one I happily place in the public domain.

I suggest to you I have every right to criticise the workings of the NZACA, please consider this.
The NZACA is the body that is the mouthpiece for all anglers. When there are issues that need to be taken to the Minister of Fisheries, the NZACA should be 'The Angler's Voice'. However, and you must accept this as having considerable weight, many anglers have no faith in the ability of the association to act on our behalf.
That damning statement is not directed at the present administration, sadly the association has been found lacking for decades. There has been no concerted effort to promote knowledge of their work, they have been sadly conspicuous by their absents. I have mentioned on another thread, the first AGM I attended was thirty-eight years ago, not one item that was presented to the incoming committee was actioned, it continues in name only offering no solutions to attract members and promote their image.
That is not a direct critique of you or any other individual who is doing their best for anglers, it is a criticism at the failing of the association as a whole. In the course of the various threads it has become very obvious I am not alone in thinking that way.
