Got a massive one on the 80lb snares then changed to 40lb and got lots of little ones. IT WORKS! Thanks for the slow retrieve advice Hangler.
And get this, I took the crabs to Rogers Rd for bait and pulled in my largest fish to date, a 1.5m Lemonfish which I reckon must have been close to 20kg! Stoked
Love it when a plan comes together, oh and I let her go after a few crappy cell phone pics.
Can you eat lemons this large or is it not recommended? Has anyone on this forum prepared such a large fish for the freezer?
