Why on earth would Phill's comment about herbal biscuits kill this thread. Surely a bit of tongue in cheek, self depreciating humour, as shown by Hardy, myself and Phill shows we have the ability to laugh at ourself.

If the new Veritas rod is as good as it is being promoted, then it will justly be awarded many accolades from proud owners. However, if deserving, there may be fair and just criticism no different to every other product on the market.

It will be interesting to 'watch this space'.
