It's not often a post leaves me speechless but I would never have expected that post from you, Rex. Well done for having the courage to speak up. It is only by being honest and open and being unafraid to mention faults that things get changed.

Mind you this works in two ways. I have often started threads and given a little advice on the excellent service I have had from Phill and Tackle Tactics, also the way the gear has been used to improve my fishing.

There is another anomaly. Never once since I joined this website have I ever complained about the fishing in Hawke's Bay. Last year I had a very satisfactory year, only yesterday I had a message from a fishing website in England asking when I will start videoing my fishing trips again. They have not seen fishing like it.

My wife arrived back in the country two weeks ago, and if the weather stays clement I hope to have my first expedition next week. What do I hope to catch? Simple ... anything that means I don't blank. Last year I can only recall one such day and I still got a ten minute video out of it.
