So yeah . . . I wrote a blog post about how U.S. backed rebel groups in Syria are openly working with/fighting alongside 'Al Qaeda'. Mainstream sources like Reuters and McClatchy are reporting this.

The link was tweeted by someone, and that link was retweeted by Nick Griffin, the former leader of the BNP.

Does this mean i'm doing it wrong?

I don't think so. I wrote the blog to demonstrate that the 'war on terror' is a sham, and basically just the name given to the same old resource Imperialism. The U.S. has absolutely no qualms about working with and empowering conservative Islamist groups if they think it's in their interests to do so. Just look at their active support for Saudi Arabia, the most conservative Islamist regime on Earth, bar none.

He's retweeting it, I expect, because he wants to whip up animus towards Muslims in general. Which wasn't the intent of the blog.

But I guess once it's out there, you can't really control how it's used.
