I think that people have finally had their fill of Muslims. The Guardian's comment section confirms this. It's good to see.
It's similar to how I've noticed the people on city-data dot com's Employment message board openly advocating communistic ideas. I wouldn't expect this given that that forum's membership is rather conservative. Goes to show that people have had enough and realise that the jobs just don't exist due to automation, offshoring, and immigrant and that therefore being unemployed isn't the result of a character flaw.
While I'm here, I'm still talking to this 18 year old girl on Tinder. She hasn't asked me a thing but I'll cut her slack for not knowing how this is supposed to work due to her age. But she answers questions if put to her. And she's agreed in principle go out in the near future. So that's amazing.
I was asking her about prom in a jokey fashion. She doesn't seem to like this American tradition. And she said she doesn't graduate until NEXT YEAR. That's crazy. It's like being an 11th grader in the US. I'm not quite sure how this sixth form thing works. I think it's 12th and 13th grade. But still, 12th grade...that's nuts.
And she looks young so this could be all kinds of madness.
I mean...would I have dated somebody in their early to mid 30s when I was 18? Maybe, I guess. I think my friend dated a woman around that age when he was 18 or so. I know it was some old woman but don't know how old.
Well, you know all those Simian Pride defenders who would say, "Hey, it's legal"? Same principle applies. Moreso, actually because 18 is legal most everywhere on earth. 16 is less accepted globally.
And you know, she doesn't even seem crazy. She seems normal. It's her normality which is weird. You'd expect somebody messaging guys twice their age to be a total nut, drug addict, getting abused, whatever. But no, seems intelligent and well-adjusted. Maybe it's one of those "guys my age aren't sophisiticated enough for me" situations.
