No food in the house (except Red Vines). It's 1.00 but most of the takeaways don't open until at least 4.00. I planned on doing 90 minutes of this transcript but it's just so unpleasant so I did 60 minutes which is still pretty good. It only took me like two hours but I just can't bring myself to do this shit.

So now I just have to wait three hours. I was playing Crusader Kings 2, hoping to fill the time, but then an unexpected succession happened. I had three powerful duchies in England as emperor (Kent, whatever the London one is, and Wessex). I had tanist succession where everyone votes from my dyanasty who's going to be the next emperor. The individual kingdoms also had this succession law.

So my heir was winning the vote for Wales, Scotland, and the Empire as a whole, but somebody else was winning for England. No big deal. The guy who gets England will get all of England except my three duchies. Because the three duchies are like imperial territory.

No, it doesn't work like that. So the guy who inherited England got those three duchies. It took me ages to get this set up. And I don't want to play like this.

In a way, it's a relief. I've been playing that game a lot for the past couple weeks. That's how it goes. I play the game constantly until I eventually get bored with it and don't play it for a while. Then I start up again a few months later.

So it's a relief in that I can do other things now. Let's check out Tinder.

It's slow going. I have two matches from people I matched with before. One is a 19 year Brazilian drug addict who used to live in London. The first time we matched, she didn't respond to me so I wondered why she matched me again. I added her on Snapchat months ago and she sometimes posts pictures or videos. Usually drug related stuff, her twerking with her black flatmate, and just generally her black flatmate's buttocks or in a state of undress.

I'm thinking perhaps she's a prostitute and just "likes" everyone. When I asked her a few days ago how many hours she's going to be twerking tonight, she said, "Don't even know how to twerk" which is obviously a lie. I didn't message her for a few days because I don't care about this shit any more.

Then there's some unattractive woman who I matched a few weeks ago.

And there's this unattractive 29 year old who matched with me before and I didn't message her that time either. She's studying to be a doctor but she lives in Dundee. That's a real journey. 65 miles according to this. I have my search range set at 50 miles. I think I matched her when I was swiping in nearby Perth. She seems okay, has a lot of degrees, worked in banking and shit, but it's just too far to go for a "Thanks, but you're too quiet" coffee.

Then today there's a match with some...Irish woman. I guess that's what the shamrock indicates. That's the entirety of her profile. She's within a mile of me, though.

I never really figured it out. I guess there's a fair number of Irish people in Glasgow. I guess they came here historically. I don't know if it's still happening. I would assume that they still identify as Irish. Like those Japanese-born Koreans in Japan. So there's issues with the Irish people here. Kind of weird. I mean, if they're born here how can you even tell the difference? The accent would be the same, they look the same.

Names, I guess. But this wouldn't be an issue for street violence because people wouldn't know your name.

I accepted a package yesterday for a neighbour and had to give the postman my name. He asked if it was Austrian or German. Most British people don't have any idea but this guy knew it.

Also, I recently was stopped in the train station to fill out one of those customer service questionnaires. I used to get them in London too. It's some company who does this once a year, I guess. You answer a bunch of questions about how you use the train service and what your impression is.

But before you're given the questionnaire, you have to give your name and telephone number. I didn't want to do the survey but I didn't want to be rude to this woman so I accepted the questionairre. Then she asks for my name and the only thing I could think of was my obviously Spanish alias that I use when ordering pizzas and whatever other online shit where I don't want to give my real name. So I'm spelling the name out for her and had to really stiffle a laugh. I declined to give my phone number out. I could have just made a number up but you have to get the correct number of digits.

Let's see. 1.40. Still have like three hours before this shit opens. Nothing on tv, of course. I'll take a nap.
