I have three decent-looking Tinder matches and two fatties but I'm not messaging any them. One match is from five days ago. I don't care about that shit. I hold them in the same contempt that they'll no doubt hold me should I message them. Too busy playing Civilization 4. That was the plan anyway. Then I downloaded it. It's really boring. So I looked up reviews. Overwhelmingly positive. 94% of reviewers recommended it. I played the game at the time. I remember not being impressed but it was a big improvement over Civilization 3 (which was awful). I played it for a bit. Actually, I even played a mod for it so I must have played at least a fair while. It's not like my Civilization 5 experience where I literally played it one time and then deleted it. That thing was horrible. I loved the first two Civilization games. For many years, Civilization 2 was considered by me to be the best game ever made. And before that, the original Civilization held that title. Now with Civilization 4, a modern computer exposes just how bad the game is. There used to be a lot of waiting between turns as the CPU calculated the computer's moves. But no longer. Was that was made the game semi-okay? The waiting? Gave the game a more epic scale? Maybe that's it. But no, it blows. |
