i would have to say that some days when a job goes reasonably straight forward and or you get a very happy customer you think "not the worst job in the world at all" but when your very expensive scan tool seems more use as a door stop and no information is available again! it can be a very wearing trade (i will keep it short lots more where that came from)
i agree it does get in your blood and there are easier jobs but also worse ones too!
For me the best parts are a level of freedom
and being an auto electrician makes you use your brain which i enjoy.
We are underpaid without any question so if you want to earn more a career change may be the answer,
personally i am more upset by the way my home country has changed for the worse but that is another story.good luck.
