I some times wish I had a job working for some one like me
My only employee has sick pay, holidays -when he wants them, a van for personal use and if I did his work I'd be finished by 3.00 every day. Five days, no unsocial hours--In real terms--(good old tory saying) I probably earn no more per hour
I would say to any young person do a job you enjoy doing, that you would actually look forward to going in in the morning even if it means less money
If its money you want then its washing machine/fridge repair man. Or work at school and be a laywer
As manufacturing has declined in this country every one has got on their bicycles (little vans) and are trying to scratch a living often by screwing each other in price or quality. some are just trading off e bay trying to sell cheap chinese goods and allowing our customers to find out the cost of parts we used to make a profit on and I can quite understand people wanting to go to New Zealand.
There are too many people in this country who are living off the backs of those of us that actually do any work and its time we made a stand in this trade and charged what we are worth and stopped spending all our profits on services and over priced tools we think/are told we need
