I took a company to the small claims court July this year for £1200 I went to court and no one turned up from this company. The Judge then awarded me my claim. Yesterday I contacted the court to inform them that I have not recieved anything from this company, they have now told me that this company has now applied for the judgement to be set aside. I am sure they will get away with it as it's just my luck. They pissed me off when they rang me last christmas to ask me if I would take £200 to be going on with, when I said no chance they said well it's either that or nothing at all. I dont think accounts are a good idea in this day and age.
