If VW in the USA only run the expected emissions under testing, but under normal driving condition emit up to 40 times the permitted amount, does this mean that here and the rest of Europe we are running the dirty version of the software because our diesel emission testing is not up to the job?
With all the diesel software tweaking and DPF removal going on, rather than banning diesels from our cities or charging drivers of diesels to enter, should our transport department not step up to the plate and make sure that ALL the diesels on our roads meet and stick to the manufacturers "CLEAN" emission claims
Or is it far easier to ban the vehicles or charge to enter towns and cities as this will generate "REVENUE" for the government rather than fix the problem
