Hi, Just slightly off the thread a bit. But a point I think is relevent. Us techs are the ones who know what its like on the street, so to speak. The threads above prove that. Any change should have a large contribution from us. On the last vehicle Inspectorate magazine, which is issued to all VTS's there was a plea to involve testers and A.E.'s to help set up local groups to help in the way the systems were run etc. ( I cant remember the exact description). My point is out of something like 17,000 testing stations only 17 contacted with an interest. The Vehicle Inspectorate wanted guys on the ground, but no-one was interested. The email I got back said they would put it in again this month and if no more interest they would forget about it.
