Hello Adrian, I always seem to do most things for next to nothing, but really should be charging a lot more.I currently charge £22/hr & £25 for a code read , both plus vat.What i really need is somebody to do the invoicing, (which my wife does most of the time), while i concentrate on the work but i'm too soft & usually end up telling my wife to only invoice half the time or so.Another problem is dealing with customers whilst part way through a job & or answering the phone,people coming in for Lpg(autogas), amongst other things.I know most other techs think my hourly rate is way too low, but down here in Devon it's about right.
