" He is trying to get Adrian to think it through and I would seriously hope a little prompting later on if the penny doesn't drop."
YES I was, for two reasons, firstly, I find that if I just give the answer then although it may fix the vehicle in question, the same person is asking for the same type of help next week on another vehicle. However if the person has to think about it and do a bit of research, then he or she starts to understand the system they are working on and that information stays with the person for life.
Secondly, I do agree with Michael in the fact that I have spent, and am still spending a considerable amount of time learning, researching and experimenting on vehicles to get where I am (with still a long way to go)and although I will try to help anybody on this forum
I don't see why I should do the whole thing for them (if thats the case then bring it to me and let me bill you)The more people help themselves the more I am inclined to assist them. If that is wrong then I am sorry.
"Holier than thou" I am defiantly not, if thats the way it came across then again I am sorry.
Regards Mark.
PS. YES, again Pete, I would have come back later with more information after Adrian had thought about it and posted his findings.
