Evening All,

I would appreciate some guidance on this. This vehicle can cut out on irregular occaisons whether idling or on the road. The strange thing about it which I have not seen before and maybe a big clue is that all the dashboard warning lights will go out when the vehicle decides to stop. Also the vehicle will restart straight away on the key or if driving by depressing the clutch in gear.

No fault codes were stored although I am told there were a multitude of them before I pitched up which were cleared down. The garage did not make a note of them and assumed they were logged because they were raving the vehicle apart trying to get to the bottom of the problem. Vehicle did not play up when I was there and everything including the emissions were good.

I have suggested to the garage that all earthing points are checked carefully and the after-market radio be disconnected as I believe these can cause weird and wonderful problems.

This has been done but the problem has re-appeared. I am off the road at the moment and in the interim would appreciate any thoughts before re-visiting the vehicle. They cannot code read the vehicle for me because their scanner (whatever it was) has "gone down".
