Evening All,

This appears to be a fix. New ignition switch fitted and given back to the customer to try. Had it for a few days and so far so good. The garage waggled the old switch as previously suggested and created a few problems with the PAS and instrument panel although it did not cut out.

Many thanks for those who took an interest. It is also nice to "fix" a car from this end of the phone when incompacitated. Garage is impressed.

NB. Knee is now fixed. Can now do knee jerk reactions, knee tremblers and can get my leg over (van foot pedals)
