Hi All,
The description I have for the code is Intake Flap Position Sensor (bank 1) Implausible Signal, Intermittent.
After clearing the code it doesn't return for a few weeks.
Info is a bit scarce on this (even Ross Tech) but Vivid is pointing towards the manifold swirl flap rather than the throttle body. I have checked the position sensor earth, supply and signal and the only questionable thing is slight hash on the earth (image attached). Operating the flap with Mityvac gives a stable trace from 1.3v to 4.0v.
When driving the car with a vac gauge attached the solenoid valve is operating the flap when the car is under load. My thoughts are that the manifold flap runner is sticking intermittently (maybe temp related) but this car only has 10 days left on a warranty so I'm being put under a bit of pressure.
