What about, human error, ?? i,e there's nothing wrong with the car and they turned the ignition off and opened the door to get out and check round the lights and they noticed that they didn't work. ??

You know what the garage that sold the car will say if they take it back under warranty. ??

YEP. There's nothing wrong with it. bring it in if it goes wrong.
