It's funny you should say that mr Sefton as after Mr Ludford informed me of the strategy of these lights with regards to switching off when you open the door I checked this and found he was spot on.

Now for two days the car lights worked no matter what loom we stressed or how long we left them on however the receptionist informed me that the customer had come back in to complain after collection because the lights still weren't working??
I'm starting to think this may be a case for the misleading diagnosis post!

I may give her a ring on Monday and try and get to the bottom of this?
