Ok then John Smithson. If you had read my post properly, you would see that I was stating my own experiences and findings, with this particular problem, AS EVERYBODY ELSE HAS DONE, THEN, posing a question which you apparently didn't pick up on.

"Is there something added or taken away from the fuels at refinery stages, which is bound for the low cost operations?"

You obviously being far more knowledgeable than me, please explain to me, and the other "non believers" as you call them, how you see the change of fuel suppliers only, causing this fault to disappear, or dare I say it, apparently curing these cars which I have dealt with.

Treading on thin ice Ian?????? Whats your problem?

When UKAT started back in 2001, it was all about sharing problems & experiences, with like minded individuals. Trying to fix faults and at the same time, tap into a wealth of knowledge which may not have been available otherwise. Isnt it great how times have changed. You only need look at the names in the archives to see how many no longer post. Just a thought.
