    lots of pugs stop switching between 2300 rpm & 2750 rpm approximately tony when the vehicle is staionary, if you hook up scope & road test it you will find it will work ok when driving ( the blue ministry book with specs in has a different set of rpm figures from the normal or did do 2 years ago .hth
