The poor are already suffering. And? Lets make them suffer some more and push more over the edge by means of Brexit is the answer is it? A weaker economy and less power on the international stage surely equals a greater obstacle to foreign 'misadventures'. As I said: quite the opposite. The government of post-Brexit Britain aspires to reassert itself as a "global player" on the world stage: it does not do so without an eye to profit and of whats left of manufacturing in the UK, guns & bombs are a large component. The people of Yemen are certainly impressed by the increased profits of UK arms firms and their part in it: an increase of two hundred percent to £1.129bn in 2017 alone... to blow more brown people to smithereens. That of course is just what can be accounted for: the taxpayer will also be picking up the tab for the hidden spending of the British military helping out our Saudi head-chopping friends to utilise all that wonderful technology, increasing good will and enabling further British arms sales. War profits are an incentive not an obstacle to foreign" misadventures". The decision to focus post Brexit on that dubious source of revenue has already been made.
