I don't think my opinion about Capitalism matters very much. This 'goodness' or 'badness' label seems rather quaint to me. Capitalism is, what Capitalism, is. It's there and 'functions', as opposed to socialism, that isn't and doesn't, anywhere. Capitalism exists, whereas socialism is only a theory, a desire, a hope... a utopia. Marx praised Capitalism for having transformed the world and nature like no other system had ever done before. For him Capitalism was a necessary stage in human devrlopment and a positivr one as Capitalism undermined feudalism and advanced society. Does that mean that Marx thought Capitalism was 'good' or 'lovlely' too?
