Why do you find it so hard to recognize the subversive nature of Marx's world view? Why can you not understand the Frankfort School are largely disillusioned Marxists (NOT anti-Marxists - disillusioned Marxists!). Critical Theory is lifted from the gospel of Marx but aimed more directly at the social and cultural because, well, Marx's predictions failed to materialize (pardon the pun) so something even more radical must be pursued. The Big Capital Domineers are not mere capitalists, are not Free Market, are not Democracy and are not Rule of Law, as you surely know! Critical Theory offers the perfect social engineering tool for the Global Fascists. It is a marriage made in heaven. A perfect, diabolical alliance between the Far Right and Far Left is simply a cosmic inevitably where ever and whenever the center fails to hold. Center NOT as in mainstream centrist, but the center of the Golden Mean, the Logos, Reason, Modesty, Moderation, Divine Reverence, Prudence . . .
