Statement that XR Business is no more: https://rebellion.earth/act-now/resources/communities/mistaken-identity-xr-business-is-no-more/ I guess the most disturbing aspect is the role of Gale Bradbrook. But is any of this really surprising? This is just shallow environmentalism with its idea that you can somehow green capitalism - and keep it profitable - with a few technological tweeks. Whether or not XR is partly orchestrated by, or is being co-opted, highjacked or subverted by, outside forces with an establishemnt agenda, does not detract from its core message and the genuine concern of most of its supporters. Of course, it's right to be suspicious and wary of those that seek to distract and undermine us. But that shouldn't mean that we shouldn't trust one another as a default position and in the absense of countervailing evidence. Distrust and mutual suspicion amongst us only serves the interests of those screwing us over.
