Hey! BUD! A spade is not a label. It is an identifier of the most banal, obvious, inarguable, and utilitarian kind. That is the point of identifiers. So that we can all speak the language and know what we are talking about and referring to. On the other hand, radical, in the political sense of the word, is not a mere identifier but a label. Ditto with socialist, capitalist, feminist, Christian, and so on. Only fools label themselves. If one is serious about universal truth and justice, one simply focuses on the issue and honing the argument because the goal is not to preach to the choir but win over and persuade the enemy. Labels keep you firmly fixed in the choir bubble and eternally in opposition to those of another label. I hope you found this enlightening, and enjoyed wasting more of my time - which I freely waste like a fool, here at TLN, where I admittedly enjoy stirring up reactions for the fuguvit (from one crazy to another) ;-| turtleshit
