Anyone putting their money in a hedge fund is looking for large and consistent returns.10%+ per year for a decade or more.
These kinds of returns come, in the absence of crime, from a huge new boom.
Every investor is therefore looking for the "next big thing". Its in their DNA.
So it seems natural they would feel compelled to latch on to "sustainable development".
THE TRICK is for "sustainable development" to latch onto them just long enough to get a massive capital injection, then simply nationalize the whole f*cking lot.
THAT is their biggest fear. Because they have invested 40 years in the opposite: Getting commonly-owned hard assets into private hands.
So right now, they are dipping toes into the water, to see how safe their capital will be.
