I can't imagine they would let him slip through their grasp for a second. Unfortunately I think the pathway has been cleared for keeping him in Belmarsh until they can ship him off to the US to languish in Gitmo for the rest of his days. Consequences regarding international law and opinion be damned. That's all passe these days. The master's voice has spoken and they want Assange made an example of. They will continue to run roughshod over details like justice, procedure and legality. These things mean nothing to the gangsters in charge.
