Of course, all eyes are now on British judiciary - and the reputations of the lawyers involved. Is British judiciary proudly and nobly separate to the state ... or shamefully subservient to it? Law faculties and firms around the globe are watching. NGOs financed by US and UK are forever preaching to other countries about the need for democracies to separate state from judiciary. In the case of Laurie Love - whose extradition to US was blocked - the UK judge stood foursquare. Writing letters to legal journals, commenting on legal fora, is probably where to focus some energy. All eyes are on the judge, too. Will the UK judiciary really field Baroness Emma Arbuthnot again in this case, with her conflicts of interest? (ie marital links with a senior defence insider). According to those in court previously, she appeared affronted when asked to recuse herself by WL lawyers. People need to draw attention to who she is so that her profile is more widely known by the public, in case she's fielded again. People who care ... need to become calmly familiar with the legalities and facts of the case. Those who like to comment on the 'net could usefully take a few minutes to correct below-the-line misrepresentations and lies spread by the ignorant - and by anti-Assange intell like QAnon (identified by Caitlin Johnstone). These are small, helpful things people can do, rather than falling into passive fear and gloom which serve the old hegemon very well indeed.
