So our democratic right is to pursue the referendum but not to have the result adhered to? What result is that? I'm still waiting to find out because leaving can reasonably be fulfilled by joining EFTA instead. Yet apparently not according to some Brexiters... apparently that was not good enough because being in EFTA still allows as in the Norwegian case, freedom of movement of people..."can't have that... Oh? why not? Cos we want to keep the foreigners out..." "Oh I see... was that on the ballot paper? Um no..but everyone knew what they were voting for.." So then Brexit meant something different from just leaving: then it meant "not being in EFTA either" - Never saw that on the ballot paper. And now? Now it apparently means dealing with Europe and the rest of the world on WTO rules: in essence being shafted by all the major trading blocks on the planet from whom you can expect no mercy, and as I said, was Unilateral Economic Disarmament" on the ballot?; Not that I saw. Brexit is an ever increasing black Rorschach blob that means whatever people/ politicians want it to mean. So what result do you want adhered to? That's of course is why the whole thing is already an almighty feck up and guaranteed to get worse.
