Strawman and deflection. First they came for democracy when I was on the other team... Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union. Was the question. How and details was left up to the government and it has of course all the rights at that point (because even if it were a democracy here, it is a weak one at best). The first step is the one that, if we cared about democracy at all, would be insisted upon. There are many different terms and conditions past the initial honouring of the vote that could (and should) be negotiated. The newest info (labour remain and promise of another referendum w same question) shows the bullshit of remainer arguments that it's just about the terms and of course we love democracy. And I'm calling it. Brits should be ashamed of how easily they are beguiled into believing that we can dismiss a democratic result just this once with no negative ramifications. The U.K. Population is selling the keys to their shackles to a foundry boss. If only we could get so excited about the nhs.
